Jesus College Choir's Binaural Recording: A Treasure of a Disc

The Jesus College Choir, under the direction of its new Music Director, Benjamin Sheen, has been making waves in the music world with their recent recording success. The choir partnered with the Britten Sinfonia for their recording of Grayson Ives' Requiem, which was hailed as a 'treasure of a disc' by Gramophone's Malcolm Riley.

Benjamin Sheen, a prize-winning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists and the 2011 recipient of the Silver Medal from the Worshipful Company of Musicians, is thrilled to be joining Jesus College as its next Music Director early next year. With his extensive education, including being a chorister at St Paul's Cathedral in London, followed by Eton College, Oxford University, and the Julliard School, Sheen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position.

The Choir of Jesus College Cambridge is open to all members of the College, both undergraduate and postgraduate, as well as singers from other colleges and institutions in Oxford. The choir's CD recordings are available for purchase online or in person at the Porters' Lodge, with UK postage costs included automatically.
